The Reed brothers have finally united to create music together after twelve years of being 3000 miles apart. Phil finally moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and joined forces with Aaron in a project named Buckle Rash. Playing around with their not so high-energy solo creations they developed something on the side.

We were honored to have been able to present Maslow with a check for $9368.57 from the inaugural 2014 Southern Oregon Smoked Salmon Festival. Thanks to all who attended, supported, played great music and volunteered.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the inaugural 2014 Southern Oregon Smoked Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon a success! We had about 525 people attend throughout the day and ran out of beer, wine, smoked cheese and 239 LBS of smoked salmon.

Congratulations to Ellis Mcqueary of Tillamook, Oregon who took 1st place among 13 competitors in the first annual Southern Oregon Smoked Salmon Festival competition. Ellis received the $1000 first place prize and looks forward to defending his prestigious title next year. Check out the photo of his winning entry – you know you want to try it! Congratulations also goes out to Steven King of Jacksonville, Oregon who was the People’s Choice awards winner with 400 votes counted.

3rd Place – Peter Mendell – Bend, Oregon
People’s Choice Award – Steven King – Jacksonville, Oregon

Grants Pass is located on along the banks of the wild and scenic Rogue River and representing is Jacob. Look at that beautiful fresh salmon and those big chunks about to head into the smoker.
